Performance for the camera, until my own small infinity

This photo collection shows an ongoing durational performance that began in February 2024, where I ask loved ones to photograph me every time I perform an estrogen injection as part of my hormone replacement therapy. As this process is a painful lifelong ritual, the photographs document the endurance aspect of transness that is often erased in trans narratives.
As of February 2025, a year has passed, and more than 50 injections and 300 photographs have been shot. I am currently in the process of developing the photos, all shot in 35mm film, and am experimenting with different forms that can hold the project.
