My name is Jun!yi Min and I am an international performance
artist, filmmaker, curator, and educator who works across the United States and
Singapore. I am currently in the process of relocating my practice back to
Singapore after 10 years of leaving the country to pursue an art career
and gender-affirming care. I recently completed my MFA in Visual Arts at
University of California San Diego in 2024 with an emphasis on performance art
and video installation. I have performed and exhibited at the Mingei Museum,
Bread and Salt Gallery, Mandeville Art Gallery, Elliott Hundley Studio,
and Best Practice in California, A Space Gallery, Chelsea Walls Gallery in New
York, and G.U.C Gallery in Seoul. My performance-centered films have been
screened at Millennium Film Workshop, Chelsea Walls Gallery, Kingston Film
Foundation, and at the MoMA in New York.
