St Paul’s Episcopal Church, PROJECT [BLANK], 2023

I climb into a translucent plastic cocoon bag to change from gender-neutral clothes into femme clothing that was placed in the bag beforehand. The performance unfolds a claustrophobic, visible but obscured, struggle to transform. Three incense sticks were tied to the camera as offering for my late grandfather to come and witness my transformation.
